About This Role:
LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings seeks a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and being the face of our company. Your strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
