Position Overview:
Boston Speech Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic Instructor for Visually Impaired Students. This role is essential in fostering a supportive learning environment for students with visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Instructor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing tailored educational support to students.
  • Implementing effective teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborating with educational staff to develop individualized education plans.

Work Schedule:
This is a part-time role requiring approximately 15 hours per week.

Compensation:
The position offers a competitive rate of $75 per hour.

Target Audience:
This role focuses on elementary and middle school students.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of one year of professional experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired within the last three years, which may include residency or clinical practicum.
  • A valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certificate or credential in Massachusetts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in various situations.

Contract Details:
This is a 1099 contract position, with no benefits provided at this time.
