We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Technologist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Radiation Therapy Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering precise doses of radiation to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform simulations for treatment under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist
- Construct immobilization devices and custom shielding
- Schedule patient appointments and deliver prescribed therapeutic doses of radiation
- Take port films and labels to be checked appropriately
- Record treatment records, including dose addition, documentation of port films, adjustments in prescriptions, diagrams, blocking, and landmark
- Graduate of a 2-year Radiation Therapist Program
- NYS Licensure as Radiation Therapist required or must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire
- ARRT certification preferred
