About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Operations Associate at DICK'S SPORTING GOODS INC. As a key member of our store team, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and supporting their shopping experience.
  • Ensure that all merchandise and product received at the store is processed in accordance with established programs and procedures.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards to create an engaging and welcoming store environment.
  • Assist with the unloading of trucks, processing of freight, and execution of transfers, RTVS, claims, and freight processing.
  • Fulfill the company-defined customer experience by completing all processes according to our service level standards.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

Requirements
  • Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time.
