Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Cardiac Sonographer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified professional to conduct multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers and possess strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.
  • Work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Requires national certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
