Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician

ARCH Healthcare is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at our Community Health Center in Greenville, North Carolina.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled physician to provide high-quality primary medical services to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients in an ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients in accordance with accepted standards of care and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Document patient information, including chief complaint, past medical history, family and social history, review of systems, medical examination, treatments, medications, and allergies.
  • Order and administer medications, perform ancillary testing, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
  • Provide patient education and medical orders for care of patients by community agencies, such as home health, home care, nursing home, and hospice.
  • Complete documentation to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines and ARCH Healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Medical Director to provide leadership and medical direction for the clinic.
  • Supervise assigned mid-level providers and other clinical staff in the conduct of patient-related care and delegate authority/responsibility when needed.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with completion of residency training.
  • Current and valid medical license in good standing with the North Carolina Medical Board.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) required within six months of hire date, then every two years thereafter.
  • ACLS or PALS preferred.
