At electric_energy_jobs, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer I/II to join our team. This role is responsible for designing overhead and underground electric service to the utility distribution system and fiber optic facilities.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

This Project Engineer I/II will be responsible for:

  • Preparing designs for distribution overhead and underground electric utility line extensions and modifications.
  • Designing fiber optic cable installations on the electric transmission and distribution system.
  • Assisting with the acquisition of easements for transmission and distribution projects.
  • Creating detailed plans, construction drawings, and topographic profiles used in the planning, design, and construction of electric facilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience with the BS degree and a valid Professional Engineer license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience with GE Design Manager or similar design/drawing aids.
