Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Specialist to join our team at Goodwill Northern New England. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective processing of donations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and accept donations, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
  • Track and categorize donations, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns
  • Operate power equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring timely and accurate processing of donations
  • Process donations throughout the day, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
Requirements
  • Mathematical and literacy skills, with the ability to accurately track and record donations
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clear background check, with a valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Preferred qualifications: prior experience in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work; certification in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent
