Job Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing and assisting with both routine and specialized diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures. This role involves:

  • Maintaining operational flow and maximizing patient volume.
  • Scrubbing in and assisting the physician during procedures.
  • Circulating within the procedure room and procuring necessary equipment.
  • Positioning patients and selecting appropriate radiation exposure parameters.
  • Ensuring high accuracy and awareness of radiation and patient safety during invasive procedures.

Qualifications

  • Valid CA License
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in In and Outpatient Angiography settings
  • BLS Certification
  • ARRT Certification
  • CA Fluoroscopy Permit
  • ARRT Advanced Certificate preferred
  • Experience in Level I Trauma preferred
  • Familiarity with trauma, stroke, neuro, and CT procedures preferred

Additional Information

This position may require taking call on a rotational basis. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends. The day off may rotate, and there may be opportunities for floating between shifts.
