Job Overview:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily functions of all warehouse operations. This role ensures that all personnel and processes adhere to established safety protocols while guaranteeing that all inventory is received, dispatched, and managed according to the correct procedures. Additional responsibilities include managing supply requisitions, preparing and packaging goods for shipment, and implementing necessary security measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, schedule, and manage warehouse staff effectively.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with established procedures.
  • Address, resolve, and escalate employee complaints and issues as necessary.
  • Maintain adherence to company human resources policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safety standards are consistently followed by all warehouse personnel.
  • Assist in achieving operational performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date written operational guidelines.
  • Support inventory cycle counts and audits.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot warehouse equipment.
  • Respond to inquiries related to warehouse operations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to operate warehouse vehicles and hand tools.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, fumes, and gases may occur.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Prior experience in the warehousing industry is highly beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Relevant experience in warehousing is essential.
