We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont, Ohio. As a critical care expert, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages.
Job Duties:Care for patients with respiratory conditions, including those requiring invasive and non-invasive ventilation, airway management, and other advanced therapies.
Assemble, operate, and troubleshoot various therapeutic and diagnostic equipment, including gas administration devices, mechanical ventilators, and laboratory equipment.
Apply Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective care, using evidence-based best practices.
Provide education and training to patients on disease-specific processes, tobacco cessation, and respiratory care services provided.
Assist with clinical instruction of respiratory care, nursing, medical students, and residents, as needed.
Document patient information accurately, including billing and productivity standards.
Qualifications:
A graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program and maintain credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must be licensed to render respiratory care services by the respective state(s) of practice – Ohio and/or Michigan. Certification: Must hold current BLS certification. ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification is recommended, and may be required at some business units.
