- Respond to resident needs promptly, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues, providing support and assistance to ensure quality resident care.
- Contribute to and promote positive resident and family experiences, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times, respecting residents' privacy and dignity.
- Participate in educational and in-service meetings to update knowledge of techniques, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in care.
- Successfully complete Clinical Competencies for Certified Nursing Assistants, demonstrating expertise and proficiency in CNA skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months - 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long Term Care environment preferred
- Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents
- Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines, read and communicate effectively, and utilize various software packages to carry out position responsibilities
