About the Role

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic region. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for electrical engineering groups and execute QAQC on multiple project deliverables.
  • Guide multiple design engineers across multiple projects in mechanical design decision making, equipment selection, drawing, specification, calculations, and design narrative development.
  • Act as client point of contact and project manager on larger, more complex projects with multiple disciplines and external subconsultants.
  • Develop and manage public- and private-sector clients.
  • Prepare and submit monthly project completion reports, monthly project staff utilization plans, and monthly project updates to practice leaders.
  • Ensure effective use of equipment and personnel, and operate within specified budget parameters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of years of professional experience.
  • Appropriate professional certification preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Performance Expectations

  • Complete Annual Individual Training Program.
  • Mentor and train staff.
  • Train adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absence.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by soliciting monthly performance feedback, identifying client needs, and identifying the next project.
  • Comply with all KCI policies and procedures.
  • Ensure projects fulfill ISO compliance requirements.
  • Manage work routine of all assigned staff and assign job activities as required.
  • Complete other duties as required/assigned.
