Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 1 year of experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care, or completion of an Emergency Nursing training program.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 year of experience in Medical Acute Care.
- Previous Emergency Department cross-trained experience.
- Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN).
