At MCKEEVER ENTERPRISES INC, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food to corporate specifications, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food to corporate standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Provide fast, friendly, and helpful service to all customers, making eye contact and thanking them upon fulfilling their requests.
- Sample and suggest food products to customers, promoting sales and revenue growth.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation, adhering to corporate and state regulations.
- Ensure accuracy of customer special orders and merchandise all food products within company guidelines.
- Adhere to all corporate, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as corporate uniform policy.
- Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
- Maintain cold case logs, hot food logs, and cooling logs consistent with store policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Efficiently deal with customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a food handling permit.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.
- Frequent bending, reaching, standing, and walking.
- Occasional exposure to cool temperatures.
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders.
- Occasionally carry and lift from floor to waist of up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift from floor to over head of up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally able to push and pull up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work in a store/kitchen environment.
$13.00/hour
