CT Tech II Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech II to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a CT Tech II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform post-processing on CT/MRI data sets and maintain quality control measures of the 3D Lab, CT/MRI department.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 3D post-processing, positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT, MRI, and post-processing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with others, prioritize tasks, and act as a mentor to staff as needed while providing quality in-services and instructions.
  • Ensure proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment and maintain inventory and equipment service records.
  • Responsible for the proper use of the RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams, and to assist the department manager in-patient charging accuracy).
Requirements:
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification.
  • Ability to learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules.
  • Adherence to the MHS Code of Conduct and demonstration of ethical behavior as expected by our patients, colleagues, and the community.
