We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. Vincent's Care Center in Bismarck, ND.
Job Summary:The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and creating a positive experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
