The Substitute Nurse role requires significant physical demands, including:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, carry, push, and/or pull objects as needed.
- Stooping, Kneeling, and Crawling: Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling may be required to perform tasks and provide care.
- Fine Finger Dexterity: Significant fine finger dexterity is necessary for tasks such as administering medication and providing medical care.

- Criminal Background Check: Must undergo a criminal background check, as required by the school district.
