At Carrie Rikon & Associates, LLC., we are seeking a Tax Manager with recent Public Accounting experience to join our team. This is a Hybrid Position located in the Boca Raton Office.

The estimated salary for this position is $160,000 - $175,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Job Description:

This Tax Manager role involves overseeing all tax-related decisions and activities within the organization. Key responsibilities include ensuring tax compliance with relevant laws and regulations, developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize financial position, and providing leadership to a team of tax professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure necessary adjustments are implemented.
  • Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to accurately report financial information, including tax provisions.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparation for and response to tax audits.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of tax professionals, provide guidance, training, and supervision, and coordinate efforts to achieve tax-related goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must have a CPA certification.
  • Current employment in Public Accounting required.
  • At least three years of experience with tax preparation for individuals and corporations.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles.
