Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Counselor to join our team at Greater Minnesota Family Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health services to children and families in Pennington County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to children and families in a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
  • Meet productivity and billing requirements to ensure efficient use of resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2,000 hours of experience working with children and families in a direct care role.
  • Knowledge of counseling techniques and theories, including behavior modification, child development education, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
