Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HVAC Installation Apprentices in executing and finalizing HVAC mechanical and electrical systems installations.
  • Deliver proactive, customer-focused service, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all HVAC installations.
  • Organize work, assign tasks, prioritize activities, set schedules, ensure quality control, and provide on-the-job training as necessary.
  • Maintain documentation by completing records and installation paperwork.
  • Conduct a variety of installations of different HVAC systems and accessories, adhering to company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations.
  • Comprehend the operational principles of HVAC systems, alongside safety practices and general OSHA standards related to HVAC tasks.
  • Possess knowledge of tools, methods, and equipment used in the installation of residential and light commercial buildings.
  • Perform daily tasks associated with the trade with minimal supervision in the field.
  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and colleagues regarding inquiries, concerns, and issues. Promote products and services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage tools on the assigned installation vehicle.
  • Keep the work environment organized, tidy, and clean.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Proven ability to read and comprehend technical instructions.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Familiarity with equipment, tools, and methods commonly used in HVAC installations.
  • Willingness to learn through both classroom instruction and hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and capable of utilizing necessary software tools for timekeeping and scheduling.
  • Punctuality and adherence to a daily schedule with multiple appointments across various locations are essential.
  • This role is considered safety-sensitive; successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
