Job SummaryWe are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Requirements- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM)
- Completion of a PEM Residency
- Board certification within 5 years
- IC-1099 contractor status with malpractice coverage
- Highest paid rates in South Florida
- Generous bonus package
- No floor code or consult responsibilities
- Level II Trauma Center
- 61,000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in Peds ED
- 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric bay
- 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED included)
- 60 hours of APP coverage
- EMR is Meditech, Pdoc, and dragon dictation
- Code ice facility with therapeutic hypothermia capability
- Several dedicated ED glide scopes and US machines
- 24-hour in-house Hospitalist and Intensivists
