Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Millwright / Pipe Foreman local to the Atlanta, GA area to provide leadership and supervision to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in laying out, fabricating, aligning, joining, installing, repairing, and welding materials.
  • Apply basic math arithmetic skills to work-related situations.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and other employees regarding current and future projects.
  • Assist workers in their performance of all assigned duties and inspect the quality of all work.
  • Analyze and resolve work-related problems.
  • Review materials received at the jobsite for accuracy and check equipment for proper working conditions.
  • Maintain time and track production; communicate if work schedules or crew needs to be adjusted to meet deadlines.
  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to construction plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishments.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience
  • NCCER or AWS certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school is preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time. They must also be able to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects, and lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
