Job DescriptionThis position will provide troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software, hardware, and network problems encountered by users. Responsibilities include:
- Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
- Troubleshooting problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and providing end-user assistance where required.
- Providing walk-thru customer first service, interacting with our end-user base.
- Maintaining appropriate stockroom levels by adhering to procurement and asset inventory processes.
- Training users and communicating on how to use technology equipment and providing process documentation with excellent customer service.
This role also involves remotely troubleshooting incidents using technical and investigative procedures to provide resolutions for end-users.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate must have technical knowledge of Microsoft products, TCP/IP, Ethernet standards, Active Directory, and SCCM client. They should also possess the ability to self-organize and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and an interest in assimilating new technical skills are essential.
- Associate degree in computer science or Information trade school certificate of completion is preferred.
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications are highly desirable.
