Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in land development design, project management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure the technical accuracy of project plans and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Manage challenging and varying land development projects, including a variety of nationally branded clients
- Lead a team of experienced engineers and technicians
- Mentor junior staff
- Communicate with clients and local and state agencies, and attend public hearings
- Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Write contracts and review invoices
- Ensure the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents
- Prepare construction drawings, plans, and project specifications
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience in land development design, including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control
- Experience in project management
- Communication skills for public hearings and working with public agencies
- PE license is preferred; successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Experience in HydroCAD
