Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in land development design, project management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure the technical accuracy of project plans and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage challenging and varying land development projects, including a variety of nationally branded clients
  • Lead a team of experienced engineers and technicians
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Communicate with clients and local and state agencies, and attend public hearings
  • Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
  • Write contracts and review invoices
  • Ensure the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents
  • Prepare construction drawings, plans, and project specifications
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Experience in land development design, including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control
  • Experience in project management
  • Communication skills for public hearings and working with public agencies
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE license is preferred; successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience in HydroCAD
