About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at J&J Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: Inspect and test concrete to ensure it meets our quality standards.
• Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including air hammers, cement mixers, power saws, and pressure washers.
• Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople, such as engineers, electricians, and plumbers, to complete projects.
• Weather Monitoring: Monitor how weather affects the concrete's set and finishability.
• Treatment Application: Apply curing or surface treatments, such as hardening and sealing compounds, to waterproof or restore the concrete.
• Maintenance: Install, maintain, and restore masonry structures.

Requirements:

• Experience in concrete finishing and quality control.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently with hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
