Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any concerns or issues to supervisors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography.
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods.
