Position Summary

As a Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business operations, developing requirements, and conducting testing to support the deployment and enhancement of information systems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to discern business requirements and convert them into functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Analysis: Engage with business stakeholders to collect and document essential business requirements.
  • Process Evaluation: Examine business workflows to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
  • Documentation: Generate comprehensive functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
  • Testing Support: Aid in the formulation and execution of test plans to verify that the system aligns with business needs.
  • Implementation Assistance: Provide support during the deployment phase and assist in resolving any challenges that may arise.
  • Training Development: Contribute to the creation of training materials and user guides, and deliver training to end-users.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems).
  • Proven skills in the following areas are essential:
    • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables and advanced formulas (IF, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.).
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
    • Timely development of user stories, application requirements, and process flow diagrams.
    • Experience in UI design and/or mockups, with detailed specifications.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Creative problem-solving capabilities.
    • A meticulous approach to assigned tasks.
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and achieve consensus among various user groups.
    • A committed and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting business clients and end-users.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience with financial systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
