Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including eating, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Administer prescribed medications and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and needs, ensuring their comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients, including changing bed linens and sanitizing equipment.
  • Participate in care conferences to discuss patient treatment plans and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving position is preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
