Position Overview- Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- Employment Type: Travel
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer respiratory care as per physician directives and established protocols.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of patient care strategies.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and accepted professional standards.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy methods and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation.
Qualifications
- Must possess Respiratory Therapist credentials from the NBRC and current CPR certification.
- Preferred candidates will have at least eighteen months of experience in respiratory care, particularly in critical care environments.
