Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Receive and prepare radioactive materials
  • Maintain radiation records
  • Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment
  • Perform related duties such as scheduling and charging exams
  • Take emergency after-hours calls on a rotating basis

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT, and/or NMTCB
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment
