NATURE COAST PHYSICAL THERAPY is committed to providing exceptional patient care, and we're seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

**Job Summary:**



We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to assist our patients in their rehabilitation journey. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and support.



**Responsibilities:




  • Support patients during exercises and daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as transfers and ambulation, using equipment like walkers or wheelchairs when necessary
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment, offering encouragement and guidance to patients during challenging times
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace


**Requirements:**




  • Current state licensure for physical therapy assistance is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to create a nurturing and empathetic atmosphere for patients
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for record-keeping and documentation
  • Capacity to function well in high-stress situations, making informed decisions to ensure patient safety and satisfaction


**What We Offer:**




  • A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience
