As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant Specialist with LifeBridge Health, you will be working in a fast-paced medical environment assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and possess strong communication skills.

About the Role

Under the direct supervision of a physician, you will apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints, and other orthopedic equipment. You will also assemble and attach orthopedic traction equipment and apply various orthopedic devices to patients. Additionally, you will remove sutures and staples and position patients for procedures. Your ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals will be essential in this role.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • A valid driver's license
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
