Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to laboring patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhage management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in labor and delivery nursing.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
  • 1 year' Nursing experience.
