Job Title: EMT Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMT Educator to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As an EMT Educator, you will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and conducting Emergency Medical Technician initial, renewal, and continuing education classes that meet N.J.A.C. 8:40A guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and coordinate EMT education classes, ensuring compliance with N.J.A.C. 8:40A guidelines
  • Conduct EMT initial, renewal, and continuing education classes
  • Provide oversight to ensure program content and instructional programs comply with standards and guidelines
  • Report directly to the EMT Program Manager
  • Model expected behaviors and engage staff with professionalism, courtesy, and respect
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • NJ EMT Instructor Certification
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR Instructor
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, more than 1 year of active NJ EMT instructor experience
