As a Lead Housekeeper II, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospital environment. In the absence of the supervisor, you will lead the work of Environmental Services employees, ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and free from hazards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Lead the work of Environmental Services employees, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain the hospital environment by cleaning floors, dusting furniture and fixtures, making and cleaning patient beds, and emptying ash urns and waste receptacles.
- Infection Control and Safety: Follow infection control and prevention practices, as well as safety protocols, to ensure a safe working environment for employees and patients.
- Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, working closely with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
