We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech II PRN to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
About the Role:
- Under the direction of the Radiologist, complete sonography procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, such as biopsies.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Work within established policies and procedures, as well as safety and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
- Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of one year of hospital department experience in medical sonography, including biopsies.
- Ability to accurately complete sonography examinations as ordered by referring physicians.
- Ability to correctly and safely operate sonographic equipment and perform invasive procedures.
