About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Developmental Specialist Residential to join our team at Monarch (NC). As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support individuals in developing relationships in their community and with their natural supports.
  • Provide person-centered support to enable individuals to participate fully in their community, consistent with their interests.
  • Ensure the rights of each individual are protected and promoted at all times.
  • Assist individuals in developing advocacy skills and participating in advocacy efforts.
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (USA)
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings
