Job Title: Warehouse Truck Unloader

At S&S Activewear LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Truck Unloader to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for unloading product from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload product from trucks and store items in designated areas
  • Inspect trucks before unloading to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity requirements and maintain a safe working environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as stock chasers and pallet jacks, to perform role
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies through research and physical counts
  • Act professionally and remain focused while working
  • Cross-train in multiple areas, including putaway, pulling, and packing
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment
  • Follow directions of leadership and maintain a positive attitude
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
Physical Demands:

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus, and hearing.

Working Environment:

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
