Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality primary medical care services to our patients in accordance with our organization's mission and principles.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary medical care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to provide team-based coordinated care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare services.
  • Prescribe and/or dispense medication as needed, in accordance with your individual prescriptive authority granted by the Washington State Board.
  • Participate in preventive health programs, including immunization, disease detection, and disease prevention activities.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and community groups, with approval from our Medical Director and/or Clinic Manager.
  • Contribute to clinical affairs, working with administrative personnel, the Medical Director, and the Chief Medical Officer to improve the patient care experience.
  • Provide care for special groups of patients, such as those in nursing homes or other institutions, as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree, certified ARNP, licensed in the State of Washington.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Program (ARNP). Certified by the appropriate Nursing Certification Board (PNCB, FPNCB).
  • A current DEA certificate.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in community health is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
