We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our team at UNM Hospitals. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective direct care to an assigned group of patients
- Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans
- Assist with special tests and procedures, including cardiac catheterizations
- Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel
- Identify and report/correct environmental conditions and/or situations that may put a patient at undue risk
- Program Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
- Bilingual in English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
This position requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. The position also involves working with chemicals and biohazardous materials, requiring personal protective equipment.
