About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality radiologic images for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various radiographic imaging procedures, including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging.
  • Provide radiation protection by placing and adjusting lead shields and collimating in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Assist radiologists, speech pathologists, and surgeons in their respective areas with room preparation, exam completion, and room turnover.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Radiation Safety, Hospital, and Departmental Policies.
  • Mentor and assist in the training of Radiologic Technologist students and new staff in performing Radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic rooms.
  • Participate in the quality assurance plan for the Diagnostic Imaging program.
  • Enter the appropriate charges into the EMR accurately for all exams.
  • Ensure that all exams are of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • Must have graduated from an approved program in Radiologic Sciences.
  • Must maintain a current Massachusetts state license as a Radiologic technologist.
  • Must maintain a current ARRT registry in Radiologic Sciences.
  • New graduates must obtain ARRT certification within 1 year of start of employment.
  • Must maintain a current BLS.
