Job Summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Tuomey Hospital. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to principles and practices of speech language pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs initial speech therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, and designs a speech therapy plan of care
  • Implements and manages a specific and comprehensive treatment plan, and participates in patient discharge planning
  • Actively participates in patient and family education process
  • Complies with departmental policies for documentation

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • SC SLP Licensure from the Board of SLP Examiners or SLP Compact Commission
  • BLS
