Electrical Engineer

Great Plains Manufacturing Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of precision farming products for domestic and international markets.

• Perform system engineering activities, including system definition, visualization, and optimization.
• Develop and write specification documents for electrical hardware and software systems.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to design user experiences for custom electric mechanical control systems.
• Develop and implement production software using agile software development practices.
• Design and develop rapid prototype control systems for testing new technology and automation systems.
• Manage technology projects, including project tracking and product costing.
• Develop and write test plans, test procedures, and test reports for electrical hardware and software systems.
• Release preparation and support for electrical control systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in problem-solving, software programming, and system design and testing.
• Results-oriented approach to design project management.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.

• Experience with Visual Development Environment languages, such as MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
• Mobile Off-Road and/or Industrial Control System programming experience with PLCs, motor controllers, robots, and machine vision.
• User Experiences for custom electric mechanical control systems.
