Financial Analyst

Job Overview

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Financial Analyst to enhance our dynamic team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to advance your finance career within a leading Global TIC organization.



Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of month-end financial statements
  • Review and record accruals and prepayments
  • Manage payroll and sales adjustments
  • Analyze and post finance manager journal entries
  • Input Profit & Loss, Working Capital, and Aged Debtors data into our reporting system, ensuring alignment with the General Ledger
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations, including Net Sales
  • Handle inter-company financial transactions for group entities
  • Assist in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting for central European functions
  • Track capital project approvals and report on expenditures
  • Support the Finance Manager and Tax Manager with VAT and statutory reporting as needed
  • Deliver monthly financial reports and analyses to various sector businesses
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the Reporting team
  • Facilitate internal and external audit processes, ensuring a robust control environment
  • Perform additional tasks to support finance applications and initiatives as required


Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree or professional certification in finance or accounting is advantageous
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with relevant experience
  • Proven experience in a similar financial role
  • Strong systems and accounting proficiency is essential
  • Experience with Navision or Cognos is a plus (training will be provided)
  • Familiarity with European accounting practices is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team
  • Capable of critically assessing and questioning accounting practices
  • Self-motivated and proactive in approach
  • Confident in accounting knowledge and abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding VAT and GL transactions
  • Exhibit a positive and solution-oriented mindset
