Dishwasher

The Glen House is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are spotless and ready for use.

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers.
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly, ensuring they are stored in designated areas.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Adhere to proper food handling and storage guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
