Job Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
  • 2 years' experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification required through AHA.
