Job Title: Server AM

At KOLTER HOSPITALITY GROUP, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at The Westin Sarasota in Sarasota, FL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Server who can deliver exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials to provide recommendations to guests.
  • Ring food orders into the computer immediately and process payments from guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including pre-busing tables and removing soiled dishes.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the restaurant.
  • Know and comply with state food handling and liquor laws to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Engage guests in a cordial and professional manner, providing a personalized experience.
  • Report any items in need of repair or maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working, including proper lifting and handling techniques.
Requirements:
  • Able to work weekends and report to work on time and in proper uniform.
  • Knowledge and/or ability to operate a computer, including point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours and occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling.
