About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized MRI examinations to obtain diagnostic and therapeutic results
  • Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist
  • Maintain working knowledge of MRI equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete examinations
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiology or completion of an ARRT eligible MRI program
  • Certification as an MRI Technologist (MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT upon hire or within 1 year of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 year of hire
  • Experience in working with others and providing positive outcomes
