Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with mental health issues.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric problems.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff to design and deliver patient care.
  • Administer and monitor the effectiveness and side effects of psychotropic medications.
  • Assist patients and families in interpreting and managing maladaptive behaviors and planning healthy lifestyle changes.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
